Hello, I'm William.
Freelance developer based in Rouen.
My journey
Even though coding came into my life very early, I haven't always been a developer. I have a chemical engineering degree from ESCOM Chimie. I worked in research and industry before choosing, during the Covid period, to move into software development. I was already dabbling before my studies, thanks to a platform that let you build your own video games... So the transition to full-time coding came very naturally!
Trained at La Plateforme des Métiers du Numérique, part of the Evocime Group, and by experts at Capgemini, I worked for a housing facility and a community foundation before joining Société Générale for a three-year assignment on applications (complex interactive websites) used by several thousand network engineers.
When my contract ended, I chose to bring to life a dream I had quietly nurtured — going independent and working for clients: you!
I genuinely enjoy building websites, whether for sophrologists, naturopaths, lawyers, or shop owners and restaurateurs. My job has taught me to take a real interest in other people's professions, so I can build the most fitting solution possible.
My values
Friendliness
Professionalism and good humour go hand in hand. Putting your heart into your work isn't just a figure of speech!
Transparency
No jargon, no surprises. I favour clear, genuine communication. And if needed, I stop, take the time, and explain.
Approachability
I've worked with many non-technical professionals. Nothing beats a shared language to stay aligned. I guide and support you so you feel truly at home with your website.
What I do when I'm not coding
When I'm not coding, I'm either at the street workout park, on stage performing slam poetry, or singing karaoke with friends…!
What they say about me
Sometimes, what others say about you reveals more than you ever could yourself.
